About Me

I'm a registered Clinical Psychologist in Australia and a chartered Clinical Psychologist in the UK. I have a a degree in Psychology and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I also took a masters degree at Cambridge University in Latin and Greek but that was a long time ago!

However, I was inspired by classical philosophy to think about what it means to live a good and fulfilling life, and working as a clinical psychologist, I get to address that question in my work with my clients every day.

I enjoyed 10 years of experience working in public sector psychology services in London with a diverse and multicultural client group before emigrating to Australia in 2014. Since arriving in Brisbane, I have worked in research and clinical settings. My private practice focuses on supporting people through life's difficulties. Whether those challenges are big or small, lifelong problems or associated with certain phases of life, my interest is in using the academic discipline of psychology to help people feel less troubled and to get more out of life.

I work with adults 25 years and upwards. Much of my work is related to trauma. I also enjoy working with older adults and with other people who have migrated to Australia. Some of the types of problems I work with are listed below. Get in touch via the Contact page on this site to see whether I can help.

Please note I do not work with addictions and eating disorders.
