My Approach

I am very optimistic about people's ability to change. I work in a collaborative way with my clients, learning from their wealth of knowledge about themselves, and combining that with my clinical knowledge, to help them achieve positive results. I never forget that therapy is hard and the people who come to therapy are courageous. 

About me

I am a registered clinical psychologist working in Brisbane. I am also a chartered clinical psychologist in the UK. I have extensive training and 20 years experience helping people with a wide range of difficulties. I work with adults 25 years and older at Perfect Wellness, Red Hill, Brisbane. I also offer appointments via telehealth. 

My values

I am strongly committed to helping my clients find wellbeing, as well as to the historic principles of clinical psychology in the UK, which looks past labels and diagnosis, to see a person responding to their circumstances and the relationships in their lives. I only use clinically appropriate approaches, and although a successful outcome takes time, my goal is always to make myself redundant.

Getting Help

Remember, you don't need a referral to see a clinical psychologist. However, if you have a care plan from your GP or psychiatrist, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on 6 to 10 sessions each year.
